Came Today =D

get some realy good effects with my 85mm. any advise to this method of macro? =]

i havnt done much with them yet but i had a go before and done a few test shots and it does get realyyyyy close to what u want you loose abit og light though and its realy hard to keep tha camera steady and in focus but its great if u can ill post a few images i take later =]

did about the same last week. I just tried to do some macro with my 85mm + extenders
here are the results (really my first go at it)





by the way, so close that indeed almost impossible to stay still unless with a tripod. But at the same time you want to fine tune your focus so much that a tripod might even be too rigid.

The hardest part is that anyway I couldn't quite tell which focus was the best as I was shooting (view finder too small)

So I ended up setting my lense to manual, shooting continusouly more or less around the right focus point and eventually kept the ones that were ok.

a truely great lense for portraits

... even with extenders :)
