Please let me know what you think about this printer. I can't find a way to search through this forum to see if it had been posted before.
Thanks

I have a HP photosmart 1215 printer. I have a little problem after
getting new computer with XP I have downloaded XP update. The printer
will stop printing photos in middle of page. This printer was made for Windows Me. Mine is almost 2 years old and I have an extended warranty. HP has been helpful but we haven't completly solved the problem. Other than this problem it's great. I don't know if this is a common problem or just mine. My daughter has a later model HP Photosmart printer with no problems.

More DPI the printer is more money you will spend on cartridges!
My HP 5550 is an INK sucker, cartridges are 36 + 23 $ and they last for 30 Photo pages, nice quality but too expensive to feed! Avoid
Get a low cost Epson 1440X770 DPI and you will be happy!

Epson C82

I owned a Photosmart 1215 and loved it, still would have it If I didnt win a 7550--

The cartridges are good on the 1215 , "45 Black will run you 30 dollars"-- "78 color is 35 Dollars" or both can be bought for 58 bucks in a combo pack-- and they last alot longer than Hp's new cartidge line (56,57,58)

I guess it depends on the price your getting the 1215 for-- with whats out there new-- I would say 100 dollars is fair for the 1215--
