I was looking through some pictures I took last week and came across this one. It's not technically a great photo, but I just thought the water splash was incredibly cool... can't really figure out why it is splashing up on the oppposite side...
Then again, it may just be cool to me because it's my daughter... |

That is very cool, and the bold colors really enhance the shot. I suspect the splash is going up on the left side because she was actually lowering the ball as you took the shot. |

I bet it's from her hand being pushed down by the weight of the water hitting the ball. If her hand fell fast enough, the water on the ball would appear to fall up. Not sure really, just pulled that out of the air...but it seems reasonable.

turning the ball, I'll bet.
really nice stop-action! My wife poo-poos all of my photos except the ones with our daughters in them. She's INSANELY biased. :-)
