I am new to this site and somebody refered me to be a member here instead. I was told that there are more technical and savvy photographers' here. So it might be worth the try.

I need help with my 6 month-old D200. I am wondering if there's an easy way to tell if the spot on the picture is a sensor dust or just dirt that can easily removed by a blower? Please see photo.

(I apologize that I do not know how to resize this). The dirt is about 10:00 to 11:00 o'clock angle from the head of the woman.

Please help. Thank you very much.

Sensor dust. A blower should clear it away for you. Read your camera's manual to see how to safely lock the mirror up so you can clean the sensor.

Yeah sensor dust. Easy way to see the rest of it, set a lense to F32 or so and take a picture of a white piece of paper. Prepare to cry.

Thank you so much. Super impressed with the quickness of the replies!

Sir, why do I need to prepare to cry? =p

At f32 you will see a lot of sensor dust. Most of it won't bother you if you don't shoot as small apertures though.

While it is certainly possible this is a dust glob on your sensor, it could also be a dust spot on your lens, on your UV filter or on your neutral density filter. If you used a small aperture, most dust spots and moisture spots will show as an indistinct blur. The things everyone said above are accurate, just not inclusive of all the equipment related possibilities.
