You may have noticed that I am upgrading my "DPC Prints" and need HELP please.

I am selectiog the best images that I have been doing lately, re uploading them to DPC prints. My confussion is I am not sure which way to go re the framing, or no framing.

A - Do I do them all this way, re making them look bigger, and really great as a large canvas print.....

& & &

B - Or do this with this type of border, that I like, as they appear more 3D looking, and up marketable. Great as a series of images.

& & & &

Or do I do a selection of both, available for DPC prints.....

I really do look forward to what you have to say please.

no framing. people can always matte it themselves anyways.

I prefer the ones without the framing. It will give the buyers more flexibility when they decide on mattes and a frame.

Thanks heaps for that, I thinl I will go that way.....

I still love the other ones, ezpecially in a group, and with simple text in the bottom part re referance to the title.

I've made all mine with a small white border. That way if it's matted, it won't cover the image itself.
Just my preference.

I border and caption almost all my prints for three reasons:

1. photo is cropped to my artistic choice rather than print size

2. print is usable both as an unmounted "poster" or with the border covered by a mat if framed (customer's esthetic and budgetary choice)

3. background and copyright info is right there

Why not offer them both ways -- it costs only a little time and bandwidth ...
