How do you feel about your job?
I work at an Accounting firm, the secretary. I sit infront of a computer 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. I am cleaning out, organizing the file rooms so my job is mainly to scan each clients 2004 and earlier papers and documents from each of their personal folders into the computer. It wouldn't be so bad if each folder wasn't a mess. I also answer phones, help people at the door and do whatever is asked of me by the other employees. I don't even have an office or any space of my own whatsoever. They gave me a table in the "common room" I call it which is really the fax, copier, supply room! Alot of the time I find myself dozing off infront of the computer. I can't wait to get into school, get my degree in either accounting or management, make some money and then open up my studio/coffee shop. Thats my biggest goal in life!
Anyone else have stories of goals they have in their life or jobs they hate?

I feel your pain. I'm in my third year with the same company, working summers and winter breaks. When I started out, I was located in conference rooms and spend my days cleaning out files and moving boxes and scanning endless reams of stuff. It stunk!
Granted it has improved a lot, although this summer they stuck another intern in my cube-sized office with me. Isn't the greatest thing, but we got it worked out so it's functionable.
So I can't really complain, it's a good job and pays well, and they really treat me with a lot of respect, and give me a lot of freedom. But I'm with you on wanting to get out and live my dreams. And heck, your coffee shop idea looks pretty cool, so at least you've got something to work toward. Me, I just have a vague sense, but no real goal like that to keep focused on.
