patterns - show a patern
closeness - show closeness in a photo
distance - show distance in a photo
primary shapes ,equal sides - take a picture of something with equal sides isoceles triangle,square,pentagon, etc... no rectangles, right tringles rhombus.... you get the idea

I guess you mean equilateral triangles then. Some good ideas here.

I very much like the idea of a "distance" challenge. Achieving the impression of depth/distance in a photo is not a trivial task.

Maybe depth instead of distance? Learning to make a shot more three-dimensional is something that lots of ppl could practice with. Of course there would be several shots using dof and putting the subject and background in different planes, but you can also use leading lines, shape, shadow, and texture to help separate the subject from the background.

I like the idea of patterns.
I think closeness was covered by 'fill the frame'.

Yap, patterns would be great challenge. Finding patterns in ordinary things is a great visual excercise.

I know we are just now having 'right angles', but in a little while, I would like to see || PARALLEL LINES
