I changed my monitor input from the regular to the DVI on a invida 256 card (use to be onboard. Is it my imagination or did my display magically become clearer and more colorful. Serious question, can it make that much difference or is it me thinking it does.

if you get a gold plated dvi wiring it will look even better. Go HDMI and even better than that. Go optical and go a bit further.

Rooster DVI is a digital signal and while weak signal is no good it doesnt lose quality the way an analog signal would. On a short cable i cant see how a lest resistant cable will affect a digital signal signifigantly.
Over a distance is a different story. But its a digital signal being displayed by a digital display. As long as the data is recieved without interference quality shouldn't be able to be affected.
With a Tube on a VGA output its all analog interference and resistance affect the picture quality immensely same thing for television signals. |

| Ha! That cracks me up. I had the same slogan on a website I built way back when, right after BBS's were being phased out. I never get tired of that joke. |

No, but I have something like that in a box around here somewhere. I bought it right after my Apple IIe days. |

| I want to find an Apple iie for like $2 so I can try and case mod it, and use it as my computer again. That would be cool. I sold mine off many years ago, and now I wish I had it back. |
