So my Alienbees arrived today. But I can't seem to be able to remove the shipping plastic cover from the flash unit. Anybody know how to do that? |

Squeeze the two things sticking out at the top then remove it.
EDIT: Two metal lever things.

The side with the light bulb is the front. Point that end where you want the light to go.

lol, I had the same problem when I got my AB's I twisted that thing left and right trying to unscrew it for 15 minutes then I read the instructions.

LOL Glad I'm not the only one (*sheepishly raises hand to admit he did this too*). I'm glad I figured it out before I went to town with a screwdriver trying to pry it off. Oh, the damage I almost did... |

Always a good idea. My 5 year old got mad at his grandma yesterday (his birthday) for throwing the instructions off into the trash pile, before he could "read" them. BOY did she get it!
If a five year old knows..... :)
