out of curiosity, does an image that has one object, but different subjects within this object, still qualify under the rules? or is it most likely to come up dnmc because of there only being one object |

I dunno why we don't just have a boobies challenge :-) Not a nude challenge, but B00bies! |
Have you put it into Challenge Suggestions? ;)

Isn't 'against the rules', but not catering to the voters might be a bad idea.

Think subjectively, not objectively. The 2 subjects do not need to be identical. |

Anyone got a pet chipmunk for me to borrow? Just had my wisdom teeth out and I think the little creature and I would make a perfect pair! |

I suppose if the camera can do the double exposure than that is legal.. as long as it is on one frame correct? |

So will there be a dnmc bashing on an image which shows the male vs female form of something, or say something which looks the same but is a different colour? Or does it really have to be something which is in the eyes of most more towards the "same" than similar?
I'm still trying to guage how much leeway voters give on a theme... |

You may:
use any feature of your camera while photographing your entry, with the exception of combining multiple captures in-camera. |

Not much at all! You pretty much have to walk the straight and narrow with the theme or you'll be hammered by the voters. |

My prediction is that the winner will be something where the two objects are not the same, but similar in a suprising and perhaps humorous way; ie the person and their dog that look exactly the same or some such.
Or it'll be the picture I just took. Not clear yet which. |

No Image overlay, or multiple exposure overlay within camera allowed? editing within the camera does not count as post processing, so the rules must be more specific.

Yeah in other words the feature in your D200 and my D80 we can't use as it is now against the rules. You can however do it the old fashion way .

I am confused, If I can take 2 or 3 pictures in one frame, that is illegal for this challenge. But if I do the flash on, flash off, flash on that is legal? |

Yes, you've got it right.

that does not seem fair.. |

Not fair indeed. One frame is equal to one capture, regardless of how many overlays within camera. It seems I should forget about my idea and just find two similar subjects...blahh. |

A multiple exposure with one frame (a single capture) is legal. Combining multiple frames (either within the camera or in Photoshop) is not. |

What do you think about a subject and the reflection of a subject? |
