Could feature any kind of scarring: physical, natural, psychological, urban, architectural...

now that's an idea i like - lots of room for expressivity there.
i would have it be open editing, too ..

As being realist by nature (my b-day is in January),how can camera capture emotional scar if there is no physical evidence? |

I got 3 major scars on my left leg. The biggest being on my heel. When I was a child, I hopped on the back of my sister's bike and proceeded to rest my ankles on the bar near the spokes.....needless to say, it was a bad move..heel got caught in spokes and nearly severed the ol achilles....then on the same leg, hit by a sled when at the golf course turned into a sledding fiesta due to snow....the other when I wiped out on my ten speed and ripped open the back half of my leg. So, yep...I got PICHURES for ya...!!

I've got a physical scar too - the result of surgery after a practical joke at work went wrong!
My work mates had to take turns stemming the flow of blood until an ambulance arrived. I spent a weekend in a plastic surgery ward, had a 3 hour operation to fix a slit artery and reconnect a nerve and ended up applying leeches to a woman's skin graft on her cleft buttock because the nurses were too squeamish to handle them!! (That's absolutely true by the way).
So much for humour in the work place! ;)

Does a photo of a mother-in-law count as a scar of marriage? |

My ex-MIL would probably fit an Evil challenge better! |

I think you'll guess my train of thought here - what about 'Terror' for a challenge? ;) |

It certainly would be an open challenge open to all sorts of interpretations. For example, a ringing telephone - is it the mother-in-law inviting us over *again*? |

Just checked in the site terms of use and I wouldn't be able to post pic of ex-MIL, 4.2 (ix) clearly states that you can't post images that are generally offensive. Besides I'm sure you can't capture the image of a she-devil. |
