I took this pic, balanced in b/w, resized.
I liked the moment but it's the focus or something else... it doesn't work.
I await your comments. thanks

Bump up the contrast and try smart sharpen. Also blur more of the background as it will make your subject pop a little more. other than that I don't think you can do anything else with it as far as trying to get it more in focus.

i think it is the focus - also her forehead blends with the background and the dude in the background is distracting. compositionally it is nice in terms of the positioning of the girl :)

The focus is the main weakness, I know. Regard to the dude in the background I'm not still able to manage the pictures in this sense... so be patient!
