Hmm. Sounds like we're a Team Suck annex. :)

Now on to positive things. I'm proud to say I own a genuine Deb Fort: Ode to Joy. :) First thing I've ever bought off DPC Prints!

How does it look Jeffrey? I've wondered what quality the prints are that are bought through there - I mean, I know from their description on DPC Prints that they take care to make them of good quality, but what is your impression of how good a job they did?

Yeah, I'd like to know how it looks, too. If it's halfway decent, maybe I should buy one.

It looks great! I actually meant to sit in front of the computer and compare the print to the screen, but forgot. I'll do it tonight.

I can also say that I have a DPCPrints 16x20 of my Starry, Starry Night shot hanging on my dining room wall, and it looks terrific.

Nice to hear! Now I know what I can get relatives as Christmas presents. I trust I can send them to various addresses, which will be easier than having them shipped here then back. I'll have to send cash for framing. Thanks for the info!

That's good to know - thanks, Jeffrey!

Oh, I forgot to mention - for some reason, DPC Prints come with a second sheet with a tiny thumbnail. That one's going in my daughters' doll house. So I actually own TWO Deb Forts. :)

How utterly and completely cool is that!

Ha, ha, wait till you see my *stellar* score on my Four Elements entry. If it breaks 5.4 I'll be very lucky.
But more importantly - Jeanne - I am so glad to hear you are up and about! Yay!!!

Is Catherine downplaying her talent again? If not for her and her 'cheating ways' in the Image Grain Challenge I may never have gotten a sniff at an honorable mention. That pelican shot is one of my favorites on the site

She is a photog star in the making...

No cheating in this group-only misunderstanding.

Okay, I've compared the Ode to Joy print to what I see on screen and it's very close as far as I can tell. :) Perhaps the greens and blues are a little less vibrant than onscreen, but that difference will vary from computer to computer. I still love looking at it! So chalk one up for DPC Prints.

Well I am excited, as U have just completed the "30 Day Black & White" challenge, and really enjoyed meeting all the new members. Thanks so much for all your support "Team Suck" as you are a great bunch of people.

Sherpet, are you going to try the 30 day ordinary objects side challenge? Something tells me you would come up with some dynamite images.

Peter's just teasing me - we've gotten to be good buddies following the Image Grain challenge - his beautiful photo "A Cold Lonely Goodbye" ended up in the HM spot - and I was quite glad it was his photo that replaced mine, as his was one of my ribbon picks for the challenge.

I just got a 16x20 matte print of "Grief" from DPCPrints, and it is AWESOME. It took my breath away when I unrolled it. My husband loves it, and I am very proud.

I'm not just bragging. I wanted to let you know the prints are excellent.

Woohoo! I just got mistaken for SandyP on my Shapes entry. What a compliment.

Now that is a huge compliment..... I can't wait to see it.....

I am so pleased for you, and this is an awesome image, and you should be very pleased with yourself.....
It is good to occasionally give oneself a pat on the back.
Make sure you hang it proudly so everyone can see it.....

Julianne, that truly is a lovely photo (Grief). One of my favorites. I'm really glad you got it blown up. You should be very proud.

I looked through SandyP's portfolio, and I know why the mistake was made. But believe me, my shot doesn't even come close to hers.
