Couldn't find this posted before. I recently borrowed the book "Fragile Earth" from the local library. It contains many "before and after" images of various landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes from around the world. The changes are amazing and alarming. I would highly recommend getting a hold of "Fragile Earth".

| some pretty amazing (and scary) stuff there. I remember seeing the before and afters of Katrina because my brother has a house there (it got missed, thank God). I'd like to see before and after images of how Japan and Okinawa have changed, they are historical for moving earth from one location to increase their landmass. They have even taken it from mountains and sea bottoms. |

Whats odd is seeing all the areas that are not under water but lacking water.
And FYI in 1908 Lake Chad had a drought worse then its current condition.
