Pentax has (or for folks outside the U.S., "have") released v1.01 of their K100D camera's firmware.
Some of the changes include:
- Support for SDHC memory cards
- Focal length input into the Shake Reduction menu can now be displayed accurately in Pentax Photo Browser 3
How can you tell what version of the firmware you are currently using on your K100D?. . . Turn on the camera on while holding down the MENU button.
I, personally, haven't yet upgraded. I'm waiting for some other guinea pig to test it. :-)
Seriously, I'm going to give it a go later this morning.

I applied this update Wednesday afternoon and all went well. In fact, I went out that night to shoot some low-light scenes and the photos turned out excellent!
The upgrade process is really straightforward--just follow the instructions. It took all of about 5 minutes.

| Just installed v1.02. Improved SDHC compatibility. Took 5 minutes, very simple install to do and good instructions. |
