| I take it a nikon camera, such as a d70s will not take a canon EF lens? or am I wrong |

correct
only nikon lenses or whats called third party (sigma/tameron/etc) with nikon mounts
and then only lenses that have been mfg after 1977 or that have been AI -modified

No entirely true. You can get an adapter that will allow you to put a Canon lens on a Nikon or the other way around. However, from what I've been told by people who have done this is that the adapter is hard to find and expensive.

| again... the adapters are easilly attainable in Korea... don't know about other places... and not all that expensive, but most (if not all of them) only convert the mount, the auto-focus systems will not work... |
