My mum asked me recently if I could scan in and fix her old wedding photos and arrange them into a photo book for her. She also asked if it's possible to convert them to colour as they're all black and white. I know there are some software packages around like 'Recoloured' etc but has anyone had any experience with these and how successful are they?

I dont know the best way to do it, but one way to do it in photoshop create a new layer and set its Layer Mode to Color. Assuming your photo is already B&W, if you paint on the new layer with color, it will add the color but keep the tones of your image. There is probably better ways, but that should work. :) |
