HERE is local newspaper site running a contest for the best photo of our new bridge.
Voting has been going on for awhile, and it goes until May 31. I have one entry that made the finals (actually, not the one I would have chosen.) If you're bored and have a few minutes feel free to go to the site and vote for your favorite (mine or not.)
It is a very poorly run contest (as was the one last year), but it is what it is and I didn't expect anything else. I'm not saying that just because of my current placing. It's just obviously not run by someone who knows what she's doing. (If you read the comments below the photos, you'll be able to pick up on that.)

It is about half way down the page on the left hand side. It is under the heading Only at Journal-News.com. It is titled Bridge dedication photo contest: Vote now!
It took me a while to find it.

Thank you. I took a couple of night time shots that I thought were better, but they didn't choose either of them for some reason. I think the aerial shots are good and interesting too, but not the best of the bridge.
