....was torn apart....slandered!! J/K folks...kinda thought it looked old and antiquish...purposeful blur on the bottom to indicate light coming in which would necessarily force the blur of the numbers, etc. Maybe it was a bit flat, but it was my first photograph here. Quips? Suggestions? Comments??

i thought it was kind of interesting in that, initially i thought it was an old-timey camera, but on further inspection it turned out to be the stove knob.

curious: were you trying to 'say' something with that shot, or were you playing with visuals, or .. ?

also, it might help you feel better to realize that highly manipulated images don't go over to well on this site, in general. sad, sometimes, but just the way the ball bounces. for example, my highest rated shot in contrasts was joebar's picture, but it didn't place that high.

Thanks for the feedback. I was looking for "round" but wanted to represent it in a non conventional way. Tha's why I reworked the tone and color. I am slowy realising what you are saying about the photo manipulation. My current photo of the slinky isn't doing too well for the same reason. But for the garden challenge I went to basically a whole new area.
