I agree, I was going to suggest that myself. I has very good features and user interface. I don't want Team Smite composed of site council members to worry about seeing everyones' prictures and then competing themselves. I stated that on this thread: DPL Sign-Ups Are Open!!! (and DPC Outage Info) - PAGE-5

I did not get any good replies, but I just wanted to voice my opinion.
Some GOOD did come out of your Disqual. It may have prompted for the changes in some Rules-n-Regulations. Teammates can help choose each others photos and critique them. They will automatically prevented from voting on them. Except for the Site Council, I'm not sure if they can vote unbiasedly on submitted pictures they've already seen.
It may be a good experiment to see if they ribbon more after seeing some of the competition's photos in the DPL "Semi-Private" Forums. |

I'm going to upload to our Yahoo-Motley Crew Group area, some thoughts on Acronyms for the 3-Letter Band named DPL. Not "Drew, Paul, and Langdon", some better ones, too.
I just thought it would be Awesome if one of us, from Rock-Band themed group would Ribbon or top-5, for the "DPL Album Cover" challenge. I will email tutorials for doing some interesting Custom text/fonts, since they're are allowed for this one.
These are good Pre-Season practice-challenges.
"Silky-Smooth" and "Vanishing Point II" seem like they're easy to do.
Here is a link to the first Vanishing Point held on Aug. 4th 2004.
See some past "winning" examples on that one. Seeing past Winners-and their-Comments indicates what the dpc population liked/disliked in that week, and some techniques/camera-settings used.

LMAO! Michelle, the players don't "go get the puck" they want to shoot the puck into the net and score. While getting the puck does play a huge roll in scoring, I don't remember fans chanting "go get the puck!"
Sadly, Buffalo lost last night to Ottawa - but we'll get 'em. The series might go to 7 games but there are many fans who think Buffalo can do in 5...nuff said about hockey - I have a feeling you missed the point anyway LOL ... FYI a lot of the Buffalo players are really cute, some even handsome as far as the older ones. Given there are so many young players on the team, their "play off beards" is something to giggle at - peach fuzz at best LOL (the beards are a ritual, the players grow them for good luck in the play-offs)

I find men particularly attractive when they have all their teeth... doesn't that rule out most hockey players? :D
I will say tho, that when I was in high school, I thought that Wayne Gretzky was the most gorgeous man on earth - teeth and all hehehe

I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally have internet access at home again. I was beginning to think that it would never happen again, but here I am. I don't even know what the challenges are, so sorry team members. Did I see that DPL starts with the entries from the challenge ending today? Also, is it all challenges or only open challenges?
Lastly, do we have a yahoo group or something like that? If someone could just let me know where that is I will get signed into that too.

Hi Julie - welcome back! I think I would have gone nuts not having internet for so long. I woulda had major withdrawal.
The DPL should start with the challenges ANNOUNCED after midnight tonight. So the scores recorded at the end of NEXT Sunday are the first ones that count. Same with the challenges announced this Tuesday.
About the yahoo - hopefully Telemetry will get a hold of you about that since she created the group.
This will be fun!

Everyone,
I am changing the format of the photo albums in our group.
Each person will have their own photo folder. Please submit to your folder.
Tonight I will be creating a tutorial for adding text to your image using Photoshop. At this moment in time, I am considering a photo tutorial and may start a folder for it. I haven't gotten that far yet so we'll see how that turns out.
