It would most likely be a much shorter and easier list to have those who DON'T want comments.....have at muy stuff any ol' time.

Suck means being true to myself, I understand what DPC voters are looking for but that is not me. I will follow my vision without regard to what the masses think.
I will continue to suck, as I continue to shoot for myself. If one of my photos scores well, its probably just a fluke. |

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT === OYNC IS GROWING IN IMPORTANCE AND PRESTIGE
OYNC is now being asked to fulfill another duty above and beyond the notification of oobie and yappie winners. If they dare to accept it, the members of OYNC are being asked to periodically bump the OOBIE/YAPPIE nominations thread so that we get more nominations.

Oh, and I kind sorta drafted melethia, but she might not remember. :)
Anyone else wanna join?
On a related note, I found the animation I wanted to demonstrate the victory dance of having BAMartin join Team Minus (thanks lowcivicman99!):

I love some opinions if these are too "out of the box", re DPC images. I just love doing these digital images, as they just suit my style.....

My opinion on all of them is you'd better have one KILLER Shapes or Username entry if you're not entering any one of those in Shapes. :)

I can't as these are over two months old, as I took them when in Sydney recently when Peter was having his cancer treatment.
At present my camera is totally out of action, as it broke when I had that recent fal and stuffed up the flash section of my camera, as it is at the repairers waiting to be fixed or replaced re insurance.....
Thanks for the approval of my "out of the box" images.....

This weeks results are up in The Team Suck Challenge Results Thread.
This Sunday I'll be in California attending FAnime, and might not have internet access. If nobody takes over for me, I'll post Sunday's results on Monday night. If I do have internet access, I'll post the results Sunday night, though it might not be right after the rollover.

I love them Shez. They are wonderful designs and would look great on a wall. I think if you entered something like this in a challenge though, you would get the "not photographic" comments. I'd like to see them with colored Gradient maps too. |

Well - fate almost gave me an up close and personal shot for "Elements
last night.
Just shortly after we were all asleep the fire alarm started going, so we quickly thew some clothes on and hauled our crew and a blanket outside for an impromptu "picnic" on the grass along with a few hundred of our closest neighbours as a local fire fighter instructed everyone in the building to please "follow standard evacuation procedures".
No - we've had fire alarms and such before, but never has the fire department told us to evacuate (though, personally, I thought that was a given when the alarms were going anyhow).
We could smell smoke as soon as we opened the apartment door.
After a little more than an hour, we were allowed back inside - the fire had been contained to an elevator apparently, and was "under control"
Kids had a drink and a snack, and had a really hard time going back to sleep - they were so scared. Our oldest was upset that we'd left the cat, afraid that she would burn.
I haven't checked yet - not sure if we have elevators working today or not. We're on the 8th floor of a 20-story building.
*yawns* I'm tired today.
