My daughter Odyssey became a registered user today. She took a shot for the shapes challenge(fear not..it's a 2.8 in the making). Anyway, she's using an old P&S and this is the info I can get:
Camera Model Name
KODAK CX7330 ZOOM DIGITAL CAMER
Shooting Date/Time
5/22/2007 6:38:09 PM
Tv (Shutter Speed)
1/500
Av (Aperture Value)
5.6
Exposure Compensation
0
Image Size
2032x1354
Flash
Off
Color Space
sRGB
File Size
760 KB
File No.
100-2867
Owner's Name

problem is: I don't see iso in there and can't submit her shot without that. Am I missing something? do some point and shoots have like a standard iso perhaps? the camera itself has choices like picture quality. it's set on best. but I have no idea if that's some sort of weird iso equivelant or not. please help. if I dont get this submitted she'll be crushed.

You dont have to put the details in there it is not required. SOme cameras such as canon use non standard exif so windows and other programs cant see the iso... Using the canon software you can see it.

SO if theirs kodak software or try a good exif viewer.

You know you don't have to enter any of that information to submit right?

EDIT: Too slow.

My P&S doesn't report ISO too. I think there is a way to look it up but I'm not sure myself. I alway shoot at base ISO which is 80.

You can enter "AUTO" as the ISO

There are some cams that don't report ISO if it's set to "Auto" so that may be the case here. Don't worry about not filling in the ISO information. If it's not available, it's just not. If the camera was set to "Auto" (or can't be set to anything else) then you could just enter "Auto."

Im still trying to figure out if my A630 does that i forget to check all the time but the camera reports auto in saved files when i review them if i didnt shoot in programmed auto and selected the iso myself.

I am curious to find that out myself.

rofl..she can't read yet and she's not allowed in the forums anyway. I didn't tell HER it was a 2.8 but if she asks I wont lie and tell her she's going to ribbon either. :P I did tell her that I hope she does well and I'll be happy if she beats me(she asked because her daddy's not happy when I beat him.lol)
