BTW, after my whining last night about my Desat entry, I got one of the nicest comments ever from a really good photog.....his profile page has all high 6 scores and he appears to be an accomplished photog.....at the ripe old age of 25, no less! LOL!!!!

My score still sucks, but I'm feeling much better now.

My vanishing point is just hanging onto 5.0 and selective desat is just hanging onto 5.6. So, not a bad week. I'm hoping shapes will do a lot better.

Ok, I've got a picture in Four Elements :)

I think it's a pretty good one, but I'm doing another shoot on Thursday night, so we'll see if anything better crops up.

Hopefully, but everything is a bit new to her at the moment. She is going to use our little Kodak C340 to get the feel, then later, when finances improve, will get a better P&S or a DSLR? She could be a provisioanl member, but without suckiness might be a bit of a squeeze to get her in.

Adding her to a team basically means any shot she submits gets added to the Challenge Results thread, which makes it easy for the rest of us to look at and comment upon afterward.

Well, knowing how helpful everyone is, if she is added to a team, then I think she will soon be doing better than I am. If you want to put her on standby or add her to any team that needs a new addition, that's fine as it will give her and me added incentive to try harder :))

Pfft, self-preservation instincts. Who would've thought.

I've got some quite comical pictures of the mass swan exodus (they did stand still for a couple of seconds, then suddenly they turn into a blur going in the opposite direction...), but I guess they class as outtakes, so I'll wait for a week before putting them up.
