Just a newly done picture, what do you all think of it? Be honest please!
I was just playing around, seeing what new things I could come up with!

I love the expression, very playful, and the IDEA of the framing I like, but I have some trouble with the execution...

firstly, and this is as much opinion as anything, but photoshopped borders like that detract from a picture for me. I'd far rather see just your hands captured in the shot, and not try for anything cute... but as I say, that's in many ways a taste question.

Also, your B&W conversion could use some tweaking - you've got some posterization in the forehead that's pretty distracting, and pixelation in the hair.

Generally the straight-on flash is not the best way to go, but in this case I actually think it fits the image - this is certainly not a traditional portrait! That said, you could probably ramp down the exposure a bit and give yourself more tones to work with in the shot.

The desat... not my cup of tea, but again that's a taste thing, nothing more.

Hope that helps!

I like the expression as well and agree that the border is a bit distracting. maybe the color of the border is adding to the distraction.
