just wondering if anyone here knows the best way to convert a photo to B&W but filter a colour to leave in. i took a photo of a tree with yellow flowers everywhere and wanted to experiment by converting it to B&W but leave the yellow flowers yellow.
any ideas/techniques would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Oh yeah im using Paint Shop Pro.

i am using version 7 i think. the ten year anniversary one.
I dont know if anyone has seen the pentax optio 33L but that does a very similar thing inside the camera. It takes B&W with a colour filter (R,G or B).
I was hoping to do it in PSP without having to select evey flower. |

If that tutorial works for anyone using PSP7. I want details on how they did it cause it didn't do much for me with PSP except confuse me. I have experimented with several different things and still haven't had any sucess with colorizing a photo with the exception of using layering to do it with PSP 7. |

ive seen a few techniques for colorizing B&W photo's but not many for what i want to do. See I'm stsrting with a color photo and want to convert it to B&W except for say yellow. I thought this was gonna be an easy task and i was overlooking something simple.
Maybe not!

BTW if i succeed at this is it legal. I used a HSL process on the entire picture to get close to what i want and was wondering if it is considered legal for a contest?
