Elk velvet antler... anyone here who's tried it for joint problems?

Okay, then anyone know anything about it?

The local drug store where I live carries it, and I am tempted to try it.

I've been reading some of the medical studies but would be interested in anecdotal info too. But I guess I'm just going to have to try it and see for myself :)

As a side effect, you may get a powerful urge to lock horns with someone.
Only joking.
I hope that it works for you, and guess it can't hurt to try it.
I also have gouty A, and it is a problem sometimes.

Hey, I'm an Aries; I'm used to locking horns!

Careful that it doesn't smite your trivial knowledge. :P

Sorry to hear you're suffering from arthritis.

Glucosamine condroitin (sp?) is supposed to be good. My mom's had some good results from it.

Yeah, I've tried it. I think there was a bit of improvement, but not enough for me to be sure it wasn't placebo effect.
Maybe I just stubbornly refuse to be helped? :)

And Levy... my head is chock FULL of useless trivia!
(except sports, recent music, and US politics)
