Hi,
just bought a Nikon D50-does anyone know if I can use an IBM microdrive with this? The camera hasn't arrived yet and I want to be ready!! Thanks

No, the D50 only uses SD cards. None of the CF cards will work in that model.

don't know for sure but that is a compact flash type 2 so when looking at what cards it will use just look for that.

NewEgg has some great deals going on for SD cards right now. Try looking there.

Also note the the D50 can only format in camera cards up to 2 GB. It can use larger cards, but they can't be formatted in camera. Scares me to be honest. I've got 2 4 GB cards that I rarely use.
