i took about 100 pictures
just finished sorting through the best there all in my Portraiture Section

also ive had alot mixed feelings towards my lighting in the past, and today i treid something completly different so tell me if you preifair =D

First image I clicked on the first thing I noticed was that it hasn't very sharp. The second thing I saw is that, in the shadows especially, you have JPG artifacting going on. The image I opened was Besh&Nikki2.

In general, the lighting on these images is a bit harsh. This image for instance has deep shadows around the eyes and the highlights are blown.
The pics of the guys are even harsher. Soften the light a bit.
Posing looks good to me.

| I'll agree with both _eug and fotomann ... all of the images seem a bit on the soft side and the lighting is a bit harsh ... don't know what lighting setup you used but maybe try putting a diffuser btwn the source and your subject ... you did a good job with the B/W conversion and the poses are also really good ... keep playing with it, you're on the right track ... |

I looked at a bunch of them , to me Besh and Nikki 2 is the best. Especially when you are taking a portrait of two or more always seems that makes the difficulty of getting a flattering look on both faces at the same time much more difficult. A number of the shots didn't really flatter the model which I think should be the primary consideration. |
