LOL some people use or own things for 10 years and still miss something. Though i would give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. |

Just saying that someone has bound to have annoyed him before now. |

Yeah, I know but I've never really felt a need for an "ignore user" feature until now and didn't know if one existed or not. I'm guessing no. |

ETA: I'm sure that some would like that feature to use against me as well!

Well ill tell you this, alot of people try to change how i act I have aspergers syndrome so Im not gonna sit here and explain why im compelled todo what i do.
But if an autistic kid starts freaking out and you can just put him on ignore... what would you do 1 - Ignore him 2- Explain to him why he is disturbing others? Ignore lol |

That would be no fun... I like reading what people I don't like have to say. It gives me more ammo to make them look foolish later.

Your analogy is flawed. If any kid with a disability of any kind was acting up in a way that was disruptive, I'd get his caretaker to A)Settle them down, or B) remove him/her from the environment until they could settle down and not be a disruptive influence.
Sadly, neither A or B seems to be a viable option in your case (not to mention the fact that you aren't a child). If you have an issue, and you *know* it, please don't use it as an excuse to explain or justify your behavior. That's certainly not helpful to yourself, or anyone else. Even with Asperger's, you seem to have a large amount of self-awareness about it, and thus, a bit of responsibility to at least make an attempt to keep your behaviors under control. If you wish to continue to use it as an excuse though.. there's nothing we can really do about that.
As for the OP... ignoring a person in the forums would seem like heaven, at first, but imagine trying to follow threads when you can't read every 4th or 5th post or so. It'd get confusing as all get out. |

This has been talked about before when a few people were having a fued. I think it came down to if you ignore certain people then those threads you are reading will not make sence. I think that's why you can ignore an entire thread but not a person. |
