Could anyone tell me if there is a way to convert a large number of files from RAW to jpeg? Say a thousand Images at once. |

Or you can use photoshop CS2 Never done more then 120 or so at once though. Just open multiple RAWs through the ACR tool.

Probably downloading the trial version of Adobe Lightroom would be the easiest way. Raw Shooter Essentials, if you can find a version of it still online would work well too.

I assume that the RAW file has an imbedded jpeg file in it. There's usually software that comes with the camera to get that jpeg out.
There was something that came with my Canon 10D that extracted the jpeg from the RAW file, you should also have one with your Nikon.
Or you can do what they said and use an action in PS and use Bridge to run it. |

Rawshooter would definitely be my tool of choice.
