Joey...Karmat is right...your post is confusing. I can follow it because I know all about it. But if someone is just "jumping in" they may get the wrong idea about who the "main players" are...

Thanks,

I am very well aware of why this forum and even this thread exist. Thank you.

And since subtlety did not work --

In your post, you string quotes from several different people. After reading your post, I clicked a few times and thought I knew who you were talking about, and quite frankly, I was baffled because it didn't "fit" what I know about this member. Now, if that was the conclusion I drew, I am quite sure that others could draw the same opinion, and it would be very, very hurtful to the member that I thought it was.

So, please, when you are presenting "evidence" please make sure that it is crystal clear, and others are not mislead.

you're missing what i'm saying. in your post above where you string a bunch of quotes, it is impossible to know who is saying what (which is okay), but it is also impossible to tell what is being said to "ego-maniac" and what is being said about him, and what is being said by him.

Therefore, to the reader who has not a clue what ya'll are actually talking about, reading your post gives the impression that it is someone else. Someone very distinctly different from who you are talking about (since someone finally told me who it was).

That said, if you have had issues with him here, let SC know and they will deal with it. If you have not had issues with him here, it's really none of our business, frankly.

edited to add: someone also just showed me that the comments in question are on this site. thank you. If possible, can SC take it from here?

Yea if I didn't know I would think it was Tim and Tim is one of the nicest guys I know.It would be a shame if someone new thought he was mean.

Again, for reference, I know who this is and I know what Ken was talking about in his original post.

What I'd really recommend, is that Rugman, you edit your post and just remove all references to the other thread and the comments.

There's just no need for it. Ken started this thread to vent a bit. He provided zero identifying information. He got sympathy. Great.

But your posts provided all kinds of identifying info if you just do a search on the forums. Yes, the user in question is a problem. But one of the best things about DPC is its refusal to allow the forums to be a place to yell at each other. And the worst thing would be for someone else to now be blamed for the real person's issues.

If you're that upset about this person, then as karmat said, hit the "report post" button either in the forums or on a comment.

So again, please, can you delete your copied info from the other thread and the comments on that shot?

Thanks.

So sorry for the confusion. I can see where I started to not explain properly.

karmat, I was refering to things that happened on this site. Although it was not directed to me, I do not think it is fair for anyone to recieve this kind of treatment or responses. I so much do not want this kind of thing tolerated here, and since I have been peeved for a while at some of the comments, I decided to vent with someone feeling my same frustrations.

I prefer this site to others, and do not want to deal with these kinds of rude remarks here also. I was just trying to allow others to see where I am coming from, in hopes they will take a stand if they are the subject of the abuse. While none was directed to me, I do not feel it is my right to report a post to someone else. I will if and when it is to me, but not before. So sorry for the confusion, as after going back and reading my posts, I was kinda confused also. Thanks for allowing me to explain, and I hope this will clear up the misunderstanding.

My post is now edited. I did not think it had identifying marks in it, but I guess it did. Sorry for that. I also jumped on the wagon with ken to vent also, as I have been a subject of attack also. I did not realize others felt this way, and found the need and opportunity to chime in. I am not looking for sympathy, just for this to not continuie here., Criticism is one thing, blatant rudeness is another.
