A square of marble facing fell off the BMO building yesterday, the tallest office building in Canada. I've read 50th floor and I've read 54th floor. It was 140 kilograms, you do the math, I think that's around 280 pounds for you Yanks.

It fell onto a mezzanine level roof, around third floor level.

Sorry, I was too lazy to get out my wide angle lens, but here are some zoom shots from on my way to work this am. The shot of the guys in the scaffolding replacing the square was taken from my desk, through my scungy office window.

If you look closely you'll see how all of the facing marble is weathered. One skyscraper, brought to you by idiots, thankyouverymuch. Watch yer head eh.

They have stopped welding some cars together and using aircraft adhesive's.

The scary part isn't that they're glueing cars together its that they're glueing airplanes together LMAO!
