Challenge: Desserts
Description: The yummy (usually sweet) foods, not the dry landscapes.

| All it would do is make a bunch of people hungry, and a lot of people upset because people didn't understand what KIND of dessert it was and voted low on it. LOL... |

| i bet all the people that are dieting and/or weight conscience would not enjoy this challenge. Maybe we should change it to a "Salad" challenge? |

I guess there could be two exclusive open challenges. Desserts for us that like to eat and salads for those that don't :-)

Or you could accept the midwestern definition of salad and still have it as one challenge. |

| Depends on the particular region but it usually involves a combination of Jello, Cool Whip, mini marshmallows, and some sort of fruit. Sometimes it has nuts usually not. Sometimes it's just jello with Miracle Whip which is truly disgusting but some traditions die hard. During the holidays it will be spiced with cinnamon and/or be a combination of red and green Jello. Always was interesting to see the looks on people's faces when they were asked if they wanted salad and were passed this big bowl of what was essentially a dessert. |

Make it an open challenge, and have the other one be "Desert".
I'll put a pie in the middle of the Mojave and try to enter both!

Ah yes, I've heard of this version of...err...salad. Tres interesting, never had it myself but sure it's quite the experience! |
