B&H isn't even having new people sign up to be informed when the new Canon Mark III comes in. Anyone have any word on numbers for it's release? I really want this camera but the wait is looking pretty scary at this point.

Zipzoomfly.com appears to be the only on that is shipping right now.

I checked there site, say they have it 'in stock' and yet Estimate Delivery Time: 5/30/07, way longer then the 3 days it takes for shipping so... at least that is a rough idea when the camera will be out.

I called the place I ordered it from and they are still saying "End of May" as the delivery time frame. I begged and pleaded for a more accurate estimate and then, when they couldn't find anything more on it, I apologized for being so wacked out saying I'm just super excited is all. ;-)

| Some of the rumors I'm hearing on the web say that the "official" launch date of this camera is May 21 (this Monday). I think the big retailers have it in stock already (or are getting it this week). Once this Monday rolls around, the flood gates will open. Keep in mind this is JUST WHAT I'M HEARING ON THE WEB, and I am in no way "in the know" on this any deeper than that. So if next Monday comes and goes with no new news, don't kill me! :) |
