No make it a true thumbnail challenge 120x120 pixels. No dimension may be shorter than 90 pixels or longer than 120 pixels.

Everybody was complaining about voting thumbs, so I figured lets just vote on thumbs. A winning thumb would require an entire different skill. The avatar challenge. |

What if people 'cherry pick' vote the large images prior to voting on the thumbs? And I would hate to wait on a page with a hundred or so full size images to load so I could go vote their thumbs. |

This sounds like alot of fun!
And it could lead to higher voter turn out, due to the fact that people with dial-up could easily join in. |

Hey, I have dial-up, and I am doing just fine. I have special fast dial-up......j/j, but I don't think its slow, although, my eyes haven't seen the "other". :)
Ha ha voting on thumbs, talk about making a trip to the eye doctor afterwards! |

Would be a pain for SC to validate entries, to get around this, make a rule of no resize, straight crop only.
This would be a serious compositional challenge, and surely even the playing field for lower resolution cameras. |

if we are really doing this, please can the voting page be modified where we can vote on 30 thumbnails simultaneously by typing in a score, then when we are done, we just click on the Submit button at the bottom? |
