Well, I WAS in the car when it was hit. The kid was pissed because he was on his way to his prom and was driving his buddies' Hyper-Customized Monte Carlo SS. I remember passing the guy and thinking, "That's over the top having a 12" LCD screen hanging down in front of the back seat and there's not even anyone in the back to watch it." He musta changed lanes and BAM!

I'm hoping the Monitor and TiVo in the trunk aren't damaged. I'm hesitant about turning either on for fear of the sickening noise of a dead harddrive or the flicker of a damaged monitor.

Nope, didn't add anything. And it's good to be back. I've been going through a lot of problems in my life, medical this time. But, I'm coming through it and ready to get back to taking photos.

Sorry to hear that all the way around. It wasn't too bad here, I cooked her breakfast, lunch and dinner. Damn I spent some kinda time in the kitchen today.

Mostly nice mother's day for me, but partly sad...
Did the same outing we've done the past couple or three years but this year was the first time doing it without my mother. I enjoyed it, but at one point it really hit me how much I miss her, and there were a few tears....
