I've been fooling around with a pentax 360fgz flash. And all my testing seems to indicate that p-ttl (which the pentax k100d uses) underexposes a lot.
I may have to suck it up and compensate for it. Do i turn up the exposure value or turn up the power on the flash? |

Depends on whether you're saying the underexposure is the subject or the subject and background.

its the subject and the background. But i've been fooling around a workaround i just saw in another forum where it is suggested i set "link AE to AFpoint".
It seems to be working much better. I also use matrix not CW or spot. But I think if it exposes correctly even once then i must prob. be doing something wrong. I just need to find the right combination. |
