Hi Guys,

Hoping someone can help me out.
I just got a Canon 30D, which I am chuffed with, though my version of RSE won't read the Raw files correctly.
I can't find it available to download anywhere on the net.
Since the pixmantec site is no longer available after Adobes buy out, I can't find much info out either, just that I need RSE 2006 version 1.2.1 Build 72.

Does any one have the .exe installation file saved for the Canon 30D compatible version of RSE. Could you mail it to me?

Just to clarify, it is "Version 1.2.1 build 72", but if you got a 30D and you use it, then it is going to be the right one!

I have used RSE for what seems like ages now and realy like it, so really want to get a version that I can continue to use.

Thanks in advance for those who read this and even more thanks to anyone who can send me the right file!

AL.

I have a copy of RawShooter Essentials. Here is what it says in the version section.

File Version: 1.2.1.72
Description: RawShooter Installer
Copyright: (c) 2005-2006 Pixmantec ApS
Size: 4.87 MB (5,115,780 bytes)

Is this what your looking for?

ETA: This is the free download version so providing you a copy should not violate any copyrights...right?

Dont think so...

I just looked it up on their site and it said "free" and other versions are availible through download.com and tucows.com so I should not be a problem sending it to you.

If I was you I wouldn't publish my e-mail address in my profile, even less post it in a forum.

I just tried to send and got an error saying, "error 552 - server does not accept file type (5.4.3). Let me try again. I have another Idea. Check your email in a couple of minutes.

Yeah, I know it is not the best to have it in my profile, but I have had no trouble to date. Have removed it from the forum thread though, as that was probably no the best thing to do...!!!

Ah - Probably doesn't like you sending .exe files.

Can you rename the file with an extension ".xls" or something and me rename it ".exe" at my end? I'm sure I have seen a friend in work do that to get around the system?

Easiest way is to zip it - most of the file type filters accept those and it might make it a little smaller to boot (not much)...

Check your email - I sent you a PM

I recently downloaded Rawshooter Essentials, but when I try to register it, it fails. Is this because Pixmantec's website no longer exists? Does anyone know of a workaround for this registering this free software? I find it annoying to have to try to register and then cancel everytime.

Thanks.

Would you please send me the file too? I have version 1.2.0.0 and cannot locate it elsewhere.
