Well, I wasn't walking actually, but this chap was..

I was sitting watching my daughter play, and messing about with the camera, trying to capture, well, this...

Not an earth shattering pic, but I thought I share as I've not been very active on the site lately, and to be honest I've not taken many photos 'for myself' in the last year. The only reason I had the camera with me on Saturday was because we were between sports events for the paper, and Phoebe (the Daughter) comes along and helps Dad.

edit: duh, typo.

What a wonderful shot! The framing works great and you caught a perfect moment with his foot in the air. Take more pictures for yourself. It feels good, doesn't it?

I think it's great. Simple human quality, nice capture of light and shadow. Just enough.

'Ay, it does.

I've been burning the candle at both ends and gently warming it in the middle for about 18 months. Unfortunately it has been a lot of work behind a camera, so I've felt a bit 'over shuttered' to do anything appart from snapshots of the kids for myself... Need a long holiday. :-).

Cheers, Me.

I've never heard that 'warming it in the middle' part...that's hilarious.
