Too bad Team 5.0 is full.
You could bring your little bity 4.6 Litre along and play with us!
In all seriousness nice job.
Valencia Orange, Hood scoop and some FMC dealer acquired stripes fromthe dealer.
EDIT - Looking thru the parts catalog unless this is an actual Ford Racing FRS 500 it appears thats what they got the stripes from. I looked it up because i know its not a standard option. Dealers tend to go the extra mile and pickup things.
You can get sidescoops from your dealer and have a body shop paint to match. They stick on just tell the dealer u have an 07 Mustang GT California Special.

Yeah, The racing stripes were a must. I had them pull off the ones on the rear deck and spoiler beacuase they were crooked. They are redoing them next week. Shes amazing to handle. She has been lowered, and had a suspension kit, springs the works...after market exhaust system including the air intake and computer chip to increase HP and performance. I ordered the louvers for the rear side windows...etc, She definately gets up and goes.

Not sure about the side scoops, would need to see them in person. Ordered the satin fuel door, and the front chin plate also. Therre is also a chrome step protecter on order. My husband wants to put a super charger on it, bit I dont see the need, I'm NOT racing Her (lol)
Color is called Grabber Orange, and Yes the dealer was cloning a Shelby. Biggest difference is this one actually has more HP, but doesnt have the Shelby signature inside on the dash.

If your not racing it the supercharger is just a headache down the road anyways.
AT that point you mind as well have bought the GT500, its MSRP is 44,000 dollars it seems our dealer wants 69,000 but the MSRP doesnt look too bad. We have sold 2 of them have 3 left. |

Awesome! I have a '05 GT ragtop (screaming yellow) and am still just as happy with it as the day I got it. Good luck with it! Have fun, and drive really really slow.

Oh and the Grabber Orange is probly the same paint code as Valencia Orange. It was originally used on the Boss 302 Mustang. Ill look it up when i get to work.
Its become sort of a classic limited performance color. They used it on the 2005 5.0 Mustang GTR Concept also.
However i could be wrong about them being the same.

100 MPH in the dakota pickup.....
Whatever you do be safe, get some time at an airstrip and by all means have someone else hold the camera.

Congrats Tammy! I know it can be fun to wind up our toys; went for a bike ride last night with JoJo's husband, & we took them over 100 mph on a long stretch of pavement.
(Glad to hear you have a respect for the danger, but have lots of fun!) The car is gorgeous, and I'm sure you'll both be getting plenty of looks! |

I actually saw that, along with the pics. Yuck.
The only Porche I would ever buy would have 2 seats.
But, I wont ever have to worry about that any time soon. :) |
