Employee of koons ford speaking.
Youve been happy with your focus... wtf? I guess you havent had it in the shop as many times as some of my customers. I cant tell you how many times ive sold the same parts over and over again to different people.
The Fusion is the same as the current Mazda 6 as far as suspension substructure and drive train go.
From working in service parts I haven't had too many issues that would stand out. The focus has more issues.
As far as my personal preference I like that V6 AWD model. Im disappointed that the V6 FWD model does not come in a manual transmission.
Many Koons Ford Employee's own fusions and if youd like i can ask around see what the recall's tsb's and problems that have come up are.

I see them in now and then but 90% of the time its just oil changes. Ive seen 1 in the past 6 months on the suspension lift. It was the first time out suspension tech had his hands on one.
When he put it up in the air he called my desk. I came over and he exclaimed "Its a Mazda 6" "Its a fucking Mazda 6". Btw it was just in for a front end alignment.
BTW i just realized i can access fords database from my house. Im checking to see if i have access to what the techs do never tried.
I also just realized the website doesnt work in firefox...... lol

Confirmed i have access to recalls and technical service bullitens Im digging now.
BTW the 06/07 Fusions have a 15K601 transmitter key where the door lock buttons are in the key instead of on a separate fob. Might interest some people however the Pats Transponder has been failing in them its covered under warranty and supposedly Rotunda has fixed the issue.....
EDIT - TSB's so far a few minor problems. TSB's are typically taken care of under warranty either during regular service or when a complaint comes up the tech will check to see whats out for the vehicle and has yours been fixed already or not.
ONLY 1 RECALL
- Only a handful of 07 models built back in 06
- They misprinted the fuse box label
... NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
