Who needs a 16GB card for a camera? That's something like 900 RAW images on a 5D. A lot of stuff to lose at one time.

wow, uh... i have trouble filling my 2 1gig cards sometimes haha 16gigs would be a waste on me atm. Im sure down the road if/when i get better at photography ill be kicking myself for not getting this, but atm ill put that $100+ to something else lol.

By then the price will have dropped so much it won't make a difference. |

the risk is that they are back-ordered, and the rebate must be sent in by the expiration date 3 weeks from now, so there is a slight risk that the card will not arrive in time for the rebate to work. With that said, it looks like a steal!

I just looked at the rebate. The postmark deadline is actually June 30, so I went ahead and ordered one. I'll never run out of disc space again! (until technology catches up at least)
