Took me a second to realize what you meant. Mother's Day is the second Sunday in May for most of the countries that celebrate a Mother's Day.

Closest challenge to a Mother's Day challenge was Mother last year.

Yes, but in the UK it's the fourth Sunday in Lent and has been celebrated on this day since the 16th Century. In the UK although in recent years it's adopted the US name of Mother's Day, it has traditionally always been referred to as Mothering Sunday.

some days ago I want open a thread with this topic but the mother day often isn't the same day in all countries . but I agree. obviously expert editing :)

Just a hint for the future ... Speed Challenges are supposed to be a surprise, so by requesting one in the public forums, you effectively make it less-likely to be scheduled. You might be better served by submitting a ticket or sending an SC member a PM with the idea.

well surprise or not the dates would have to fit, dont see the issue.
