Hey team , i am sorry i have been out 4r a long time.
I jus went through DPL dates.....i dont think i will be able to give active participation in July when the Playoffs actually start.
So to fair i think it would be better if u find someone else to replace me.
As it is i dont think i would have done much good, the team itself is doin pretty good.I would have really liked to take active part.
So kindly let me know as to what u all decide on by mail .

Personally I would like for you to stay on the team and participate until July. Will you be able to enter until then? Lets not get to ahead of ourselves and think play-offs just yet! If we do make the playoffs we still have 6 members shooting for 4 scores...I'll see what other members think as I am just one vote.

Actually the thing is i have a exam scheduled in second week of july......
Preparing 4r it after work will leave me with very little time for WPL....
If a challenge comes up 4r which i can shoot without much hassels i will do it , but goin out of the way will be a bit difficult.
I will be glad to stay and do my bit but i want the facts to be infront of the team so that they can take a conscious decisions .

I see Shaurya, good luck with your exam! Is it a computer exam? Are you being certified? You have a degee in Software Engineering right? I would like for you to stay on the team. We will all have weeks where we are very busy with our lives and may not be able to devote as much time to photography as we would like. Who knows, you might be the most inspired that week due to lack of sleep LOL.
For me the first week will be very hectic, I have out of town meetings Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and then will be leaving for a family trip Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Who knows if I'll have an inspiration during that schedule or not (but I certainly will have the camera with me!).
Remember we are a TEAM and will support each other during our hectic times and I believe we will be a better team for it.

| Shaurya, I think I may have interpreted your post wrong. I have a thick skull you know! The team consensus is that you were looking for a graceful way out because you really need time to devote to your studies. I have decided to go ahead and remove you from the team for now so we can start looking for a new member. I was afraid to wait much longer because signup time is getting so close. I understand your reluctance for 100% commitment and greatly appreciate your upfrontness with the team. |

I am preparing 4r GRE. Have it scheduled 4r 19th July.
I have a pretty good feeling that the team will do gr8 based on the way ppl have been scoring.
And irrespective of whether i am an offical part or not i will still be a part of the team unofficially :) |

Thanks Shaurya! I took the GRE and didn't score high enough and decided not to go into grad school. I didn't prepare for it at all because frankly I was burn out on school. I was planning on getting a masters in biology but I'm kinda glad that didn't work now!
Any way, good luck with your studies and I'm sure you will do great. It does take a lot of preperation though!

I've got my shot for DPL, but I'm having trouble choosing between vanishing point and smooth. I shouldn't have shot both LOL.
Sports is down a bit....Seuss and Sports are tied with 12 comments though and are within 6 100ths of each other!

REMEMBER, this is only a tournament challenge. If any of us happens to get low score, do not reflect it as our poor photography capability. Don't feeling so down or sad. Take it as our fun photography and trial. We all have had pretty cool achivements. So, keep smiling..relax..;))
