Still by genuine curiosity, why is that so? why not also the pictures during the challenge? Doesn't knowing the author alter the CC critique? (same logic as for general challenge critiques)

We do them after the challenge for several reasons, one being the fact that we can read the photogs comments and also the technicals of the photo. Sometimes knowing what settings were used will help the CC do a better job of helping the photographer understand how they could have made it better by settings/editing/whatever. And we cant see them during voting.

Boy, that's a first! People almost sound like they're "complaining" about NOT getting to do critiques!?!?!?!?!

yea, I think I see you now. maybe. that little speck, perhaps?

catch me if you can!!! :) :) :)

With the open turnovers, it went back up to 200+, but that is still less than one critique per member (average). so, it is definitely doable.

Yep, that little speck. That's the one.

HEY, no fair speeding! You really did take it up a notch while I was goofing off for a while.

Well there are currently only 197 to go from 3 rollovers this week. That IMHO is very managable considering what could have been. Lets see if we can get this done folks. My lunchtime today will consist of at least 2, then tonight I'll sit and try to do 5 or so. Remember there are people offering money to Terry's walk if we can get this done. The sooner its done the more money we help raise.

Is there a way to send a mass email to the current members of the Critique Club to let them know to stop in and do one or two? I'm not sure everyone reads the forums all the time.

Not unless someone on SC can do it. I'm not even sure anyone but them can see who all is on CC.

Anyway I did more then my 2 at lunchtime and we are down to 188 to go.
And I am back on the list at 13 in the last 2 weeks. Someone go knock me off the list!

164 comments to go to get some more cash into the Multiple Sclerosis treasury.

karmat, I'll add some chocolate sauce to that chocolate ice cream when you get some more numbers up!

And the rest of the Critique Club might think about catching up.

(nyaya, nyaya, can't catch me...)

Oh, we're down to 158. We can do it!

Here's the chocolate sauce, Karmat...

break out the chocolate ice cream .

Aha! I see we're down to 155.
And Karmat didn't even need the sauce,
she's commenting with just the ice cream
to keep her company...

126 to go, but little time is left.

I see timfythetoo is catching up fast, so maybe the frontrunners in this commenting marathon better watch out! And he's setting a good example for the rest of the crowd too.

Let's go. It's for a good cause.
