Anyone have any recommendations for CD gallery software?

I'm giving away proof CDs to all the parents of the ballet I just shot and am looking for something that will would work as a simple gallery for a few hundred pictures. Most of the people aren't very computer savy so the simpler the better.

I actually just built my own in flash.... took me some time to do it, but it is VERY worth it.... If you have the software or anything like it, it really may be worth it as you can customize it...if you dont get anywhere with it, email me and Ill see if I cant help you come up with one... I love making things like that

You could make a web gallery and put instructions how to open it.
You could use Picasa to create a video clip and put that on the CD.

or if you use a flash gallery (and have flash), you can make an EXE from that.

Wouldn't that require the proper version of flash to be installed on the users' computer or is that built into the EXE?

hmmmm... I do have Flash 8, I didn't really think about that. Definately something that will autorun would be best. I built a website for the pictures for the last show and I had a whopping total of 2 people that looked at a few of the pictures - yet they all yell that they want pictures every show.

The first year I tried printing out the pics in a big book but with 2000 pics that's not really cost effective.
