Bumping this - just in case anybody is interested. Again - apologies about the short notice. I'm moving back to Europe in 2 weeks, so been a bit hectic.

There's no way i can do April 7th....not only is it my sister's birthday (and she will be back from college but i'm at work for the 1st half and i work all day the 8th.

if you guys do it then have fun i'll catch up on everything the next time maybe at a warmer date.

(like i said in my earler post when ever we plan these give me time to take the day off)

Saturday's high temp is still being forecast at about 38 deg F with a chance of snow. I hate to be a wimp, but c'mon! I just went out to the curb to pick up my garbage cans (it's 29F here right now) and nearly froze my bones!!

I tell you, I am a wuss when it comes to the cold. I think a gtg when the weather is better would be a lot nicer. The common gtg area, of city center and near the lake, would be cold, but even worse...windy, especially if the high will only be 39 on Saturday.

If you did plan on doing it in May, I will be back (on a business trip!) at the middle/end May weekends 19/20th May and 26th/27th. At least it will be warmer then without being too hot! I'd definitely be up for it.

We've got the Milwaukee WI GTG on May 12 (rain date May 19). I'd be up for a drive to Chicago if it doesn't get crowded out by the other GTG.
