I have never tried to shoot butterflies before but found myself in a garden in salem and they were all over the place. Pretty neat looking I think.

Nice shot! I like the point of view from underneath, which is somewhat unique for a butterfly shot. Looking at the beat up wings, this butterfly has seen better days!

very nice, i was chasing some butterflies arounda field a few weeks ago. Was shooting for 2 hours and only got about 4 'keepers'.

Looks like he was ready for a rest. The ones I find are too fresh and leave about the time I push the shutter release. Great shot!

That's a very nice shot indeed - smooth, colourful and well composed. Her wings were a bit tattered though (nothing you could do about it!!).

I took some yesterday, along with a few others, so I'd be interested in any comments too:

No exotic insects I'm afraid, just run-of-mill British ones!

Corrected link - you have to make sure it includes a USER_ID ...

Does one have to be a member to even look at those spider pic´s you guys are talking about?
