Team 5.0 looking for some potential 5's

What about the 66? I know I've heard the 67 1/2 is the best Mustang but, since 66 is when I was born I like that year.... convertible.... and red. Does that one have a 5.0? Forgive the ignorance if I'm totally off.

64 1/2 is the original although the 67 is very popular along with its shelby dirivatives. ANything pre emissions was cool but the 5.0 fox bodys of the 80's were lighter and these days are cheap to get to run fast.

The 66 had a 289 the 5.0 was a 302. The 302 was not avaliable until 68. 1968 also saw the introduction of the California Special which until 07 did not make a return. Unfrotunatly it did not ever come with a 5.0.

It doesnt necesarilly matter there are a bunch of 67 mustangs with 5.0's running around you know why? its called an engine swap!

Wow Nick. I LOVE the one titled CrossFilt? I thought it was great to begin with but when I looked closer I saw a face formed in the clouds. I think a title like "Heaven's Smile" or "The Face of God" would be cool. You definately have some great work!!

But yeah i mean in my original thought it would have something to represent the 5.0 mustang just as the joke and then the majority fo the logo would represent the team.

But im open to a whole lot.

No the first one that will count is anything announced after sign ups are over. (I think) Check the FAQ's and I think the one about schedule will say it.

Well Hell Sheryll if u can pull it off id say you have some design tallent. Ive been looking at some of the logo's that are up and their great, some teams have had similar logos for sometime and have modified them to fit whil eohters have created theirs in the past 24 hours and i say most of the results are fantastic.

Tell you what Sheryll you get a 1967 Shelby Gt500 and its good to go. I mean I like it, but its gotta have the 5.0 in it. But great job beautiful work.

Uh oh I didn't get 5.0's? Sorry I know they're Ford Mustangs and since Jeff liked silver and I liked red this shot was a perfect one .... at least I thought..... Oh well back to the drawing board. Any Idea on where to get some good shots of a 1967 Shelby Gt500?

I like it to an extent remember the logo has to be 100 pixels wide although it will resize when i upload id rather have you size it for best quality. It seems the majority of teams are going with a square which i like but doesnt mean we have to.

Its a team effort so anyone can contribute but so far so good sheryll.

Can anyone identify the 05-07 model in that picture? It seems to have a shelby hood and side scoops on the rear windows. On factory fords the grills wiothout fog lamps are v6's. I cant identify it off the top of my head.

The 67 came with the 302. And in the pictures its a 65-66 shelby gt not a 500 though...and a 2007 shelby gt...

As i said i like it the final should be 100 pixels wide dont worry about the height dont forget to add the text.

Im looking up the 67 Shelby GT 500 right now i was under the impression that had a 427 cobra jet in them.

The original Done In 60 Seconds featured a "1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1" - Eleanor. Which had a 302 and IMO the second ugliest mustang.

They wont fit into the new logo but here is some more of the one from the original. A search of 5.0 Cammer Mustang turns these up.

Im not worried about anything publicly avaliable from ford. But do watch our sources.

Anyways Dont forget the Boss 302 Mustang.
