Thanks for your feedback.

Are you talking about shutter speed? The last photo I took that suffers quite severely from purple fringing was taken at 1/1500s. Do you know of any software (photoshop technique etc) that can easily remove it?

I only have purple noise at low speed 10-16 sec

The easiest way would be to use the color selector (Select>Color Range) and choose a wide spectrum of purple, then desaturate or change to hue of the selection.

This is a quick fix and may need finer adjustments afterward. Also, this won't work well if other parts of the photo are supposed to be purple. This method is not DPC legal either.

Thanks. Yeah I won't be using it for DPChallenges.

See the following article on the causes of, and software solution to, chromatic aberration.

In addition to the suggestions above I have a feeling that I read somewhere about software which can fix CA (Chromatic Abberations). I don't have a link though. I beleive it was a component of some panoramic software - some of these programs accept many details about your camera lens to fix all manner of distortions and I'm fairly certain that CA was one of the imperfections fixed. Perhaps search some of the large panoramic sites for more info.
